These oils are metalworking fluid concentrate which when mixed with water form an emulsion. It is because of their good thermal conduct these oils have the ability to dissipate heat more readily than neat cutting oils. Consequently water soluble coolants have become vital in achieving the higher feeds and speeds required to ensure maximum production efficiency. It can be used at 5% concentration in water.
